A dream come true! My book beside Mr Paul Bocuse!! It all started some 25 years ago, when i started as an apprentice in a small rural town in the Sarthe region of France. I was so convinced that I would make it in the cooking industry and become a great chef.
I spent most of my free time reading their books in order for me to aquire more knowledge out of them. I dare say some might call it an obsession with Frech Chefs!
All I have to say is that it’s a relief to have my first book behind me. I found the motivation to finish it here in China. When my book finally was done and I held the 1st published copy, it was a dream come true. What a surprise to see my book on my friend lydia’s bookshelf amoungst the greats!
I am not sure if it was a coincidence or not, but the feeling of seeing that image wil be forever mark in my memories. I am not suggesting that I am an uber famous chef but i can only ask myself: Where will this journey take me next?
